A former Chief Constable, Bob also held one of the UK’s key national security positions as Assistant Commissioner Specialist Operations at New Scotland Yard, London, where he was responsible for coordinating the UK’s counter-terror operations and protecting the UK Royal Family, UK Prime Minister and Cabinet and Foreign Heads of State visiting the UK. He was awarded the Queen’s Police Medal in 2003 for his distinguished service.
