Between 2008 and 2015, Effect Railway Services worked in partnership with another firm to establish and commence implementation of the Kingdom’s rail regulator: The Railways Commission. Our role was mainly to staff the organisation with experts in the fields of economic regulation, safety certification, independent accident investigation and licence condition monitoring. During this period we helped establish the Commission’s policies and procedures, carried out safety and performance audits, undertook the nation’s first independent accident investigations, appraised licence applications and drafted elements of Railway Transport Law
