Port strategy: Ministry of National Economy, Oman

Development of institutional strategy for Omani ports, requiring analysis of port functions and identification of key objectives in the context of shipping patterns, forecast volumes, and port competition.

We were engaged to support the development of an institutional strategy for ports in the Sultanate of Oman. It required analysis of port operations & functions and the identification of key objectives in the context of shipping patterns, forecast volumes, and port competition. Our experience with this and other projects has given us an excellent understanding of the maritime market in the GCC region.
